Paul Stoll - Owner, Piercer
(Piercing by appointment only)
Force of habit got him into the business. Started piercing himself when he was 15 years old back in 1989. He used a pressure cooker for an autoclave and melted the plastic hubs off ambulance needles. Started piercing other folks by 1992 once Dakota Steel started selling him proper piercing needles. Set up his first shop in the back of a hair salon at 1324 haight street, oddly enough, the new location of Braindrops. Began working at Body Manipulations in 1997. Took on ownership in April 2002 breaking Vaughn loose from the chains of business. Piercing for over 15 years and still loving it!

Jennifer Glessner - Shop Manager

Jen has been a part of our shop for many years. She has been coming to us for all her piercing needs since she moved to the city. Now we not only have her in our picture book, but we have her behind the counter managing the shop.
Jameson Shaw - Piercer
(Thursday - Sunday)
Jameson became part of our staff in August of 2009. With over six years piercing experience in shops around the nation, he has proved to be a good fit. He has exceptional bedside manner and a clear audible voice. We are lucky he embarked on the open adventure in a moving van with his cat to San Francisco.
Andrea Costantino - Piercer
(Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday)
Andrea finally landed at Body M in September 2009. She has travelled and worked all over. She has been piercing since 2001 and is still in love with our industry. Come visit this dork at heart and experience her excellent calming bedside manner
Gary Vargas - Piercer
(Sunday - Wednesday)
Gary starting guest spotting for Body M througout 2010. In June we realized how awesome he was and hired him. Now not only can we claim to be the world's oldest profesional piercing studio, but we also have the world's tallest piercer!
Autumn Swisher - Piercer
(Thursday - Saturday, Monday)
Autumn became part of the Body M team December 2010. She has over 9 years piercing experience in some of the world's most respected piercing studios. Autumn also spends her time with photography. She does product photography for a few of the largest body jewelry companies as well as her own collection of characters. Check out her photo website below.
Stephanie (Steph) Tran - Counter
(Sunday, Monday, Wednesday)
After many years happily frequenting Body M as a customer, Stephanie Tran now lends her discerning eye as a member of the team behind the counter. Steph keeps the jewelry stocked and the shop clean while making sure each customer is helped in a timely and curtoeus manner. A San Francisco native, Steph continues to hone her skills through the study of Industrial Art at San Francisco State University.

Vaughn - The one who started it all!
Vaughn has since settled on the northern coastline of California in Fort Bragg. He runs a smokehouse on main street with his family and friends. Pick up some homemade jerky at Roundman's Smokehouse.
