Paul Stoll
(Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday)
Force of habit got him into the business. Started piercing himself when he was 15 years old back in 1989. He used a pressure cooker for an autoclave and melted the plastic hubs off ambulance needles. Started piercing other folks by 1992 once Dakota Steel started selling him proper piercing needles. Set up his first shop in the back of a hair salon at 1324 haight street, oddly enough, the new location of Braindrops. Began working at Body Manipulations in 1997. Took on ownership in April 2002 breaking Vaughn loose from the chains of business. Piercing for over 15 years and still loving it!

I was lucky to participate in a study on American toilet habits. The research group hired Jan Sturman for some photography. He put together a beautiful slide show:

Jameson Shaw
(Thursday - Monday)
Jameson became part of our staff in August of 2009. With over six years piercing experience in shops around the nation, he has proved to be a good fit. He has exceptional bedside manner and a clear audible voice. We are lucky he embarked on the open adventure in a moving van with his cat to San Francisco.
Steve Joyner
(Monday - Thursday)
Steve Joyner has been in the piercing industry all of his adult life. He became part of the Body M team April 2009. He runs a performance suspension group called CoRE and travels the world guest piercing and performing.
Andrea Costantino
(Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday)
Andrea finally landed at Body M in September 2009. She has travelled and worked all over. She has been piercing since 2001 and is still in love with our industry. Come visit this dork at heart and experience her excellent calming bedside manner.
Kenny Fraser
(Sunday)
Piercing for over 20 years, you may know Kenny from back in the day at Guantlet, New York. He has since moved in to the professional nursing field working trauma at SF General Hospital. Giving Paul a break on Sundays, and dabbing in his life long hobby away from work.
Jennifer Glessner
(Wednesday - Saturday)
Jen has been a part of our shop for many years. She has been coming to us for all her piercing needs since she moved to the city. Now we not only have her in our picture book, but we have her behind the counter. She is currently in training to become a brand spankin new Body Manipulations piercer. Sharp as a 12g needle, watch for her piercing talents in the near future.
Stephanie (Steph) Tran
(Sunday - Tuesday)
Stephanie Tran has been one of our best customers for a while now. She is well know in the city for working the hotdog stand out in front of Macy's at Union Square. She was our best promoter downtown to all the hungry tourists. Now she has become a part of the team.
Eldo Chan
After 8 years of Body M, Eldo has left on an open ended trip through Asia. His last day with us was September 7th 2009. We really don't know if he will return to his piercing career with us. If you haven't been pierced by Eldo, you have missed out. Check in with us around January on his return.
